Hi, I’m Melissa! As a self-confessed fashionista, I’m all about following the latest trends and keeping my wardrobe fresh. But over the last few years, my schedule has made it super difficult to go out and shop in person like I used to!

At first, this worked out great! My best friend lived just next door and she worked from home, so anything I ordered I’d just send straight over to her place. Perfect, right? I thought so, until she changed neighbourhoods, that’s when everything started to go wrong!
The first few orders were fine, but then: disaster struck! Summer was just around the corner, so I ordered a huge haul to get ready to swap out my dusty old spring clothes. I was at work when I got the notification email: ‘Your package has been delivered’. I checked my video doorbell and there it was, propped up against my front door waiting for me to get home. I couldn’t wait to try it on!
I practically ran home I was so excited! I got there and… my package was gone! I mean, gone for good. I checked my footage and there it was – someone had nabbed my brand new clothes straight from my doorstep…
The retailer I got them from was super difficult to deal with. I spent weeks emailing them back and forth, trying to convince them to resend the items to me. By the time they actually got around to it – some of the things I’d originally ordered were out of stock!
It was then that I vowed this would never happen to me again.
At first, I looked into vendor specific package lockers, but they were way too restrictive. I like to shop around, and a lot of my favourite vendors didn’t have their own lockers for me to send them to. I was totally stuck.
Then, my friend told me to check out Locker Suites. With them, I can have my packages delivered to a secure Smart Suite, and they’ll keep them safe and sound for me until I can swing by to pick them up. That’s not even the best bit.
Like I said, I’m a pretty busy person – so even though my Smart Suite is just down the road, I don’t always have the time to pick up my packages in person.
